What is it?
It’s Emotional Freedom Technique. Also known as ‘EFT’ or ‘tapping’. It is an energy therapy, which uses the technique of gentle tapping with fingertips to stimulate traditional acupuncture points.

EFT, is designed to rapidly and effortlessly remove the blocks and restore the flow of energy that will promote well being. Tapping is a powerful tool for rapidly releasing all sorts of energy blockages and help with the emotional side of physical symptoms often contributing to swift improvements of symptoms. When the energy field is balanced, energy flows harmoniously without disruption, the body can naturally heal itself.
How do you do it?
While tapping you focus your attention on feelings, tensions or emotions present in your body while specific and relevant statements are made. The intensity of your stress will start decreasing slowly as you perform the tapping sequence. You can think of it as a kind of emotional acupressure.Many people have heard about EFT because it is very effective and very easy to use and to learn.
Does it replace the more traditional forms of ‘talking therapy’?
NO! You should not stop any treatment without professional permission. It doesn’t replace traditional counselling, coaching, medical or psycho-therapeutic treatment, but is a brilliant and effective addition to these treatments and is worth trying.
